The point he brings up is that the secretion is actually the Frogs’ own personal sun block cream and moisturiser. We tend to think of it as poison and although the secretion is a poisonous substance, the frog uses it for different reasons.
Amazing really when you think about it. Nature works in fascinating ways and it’s great to hear the majestic tones of David Attenborough describing how the the wonderful giant monkey frog looks after itself!
