The method to extract the secretion from the frog is a superficial, non-invasive procedure. The frogs are not harmed during the process and are treated very gently by the tribesmen who carry out the extraction. The frogs are released back into their natural habitat unharmed so that they are able to replenish their bodies with more secretion.

Fairtrade Farming

Working closely with experienced secretion farmers, these harvesters take great care not to harm or over-milk the frogs and who have been working with Kambo in their lineage for centuries, Kambo is an ethical practice. They harvest the Kambo and use it as medicine for their people and they also sell it to generate income to support themselves and their fellow tribespeople - This ensures an ethical exchange of value for both businesses & local traders.
